Washington, D.C. – U.S. Reps. Randy Hultgren (IL-14) and Bill Johnson (OH-06) this week congratulated the Northern Illinois University Huskies football team for winning the 2011 Mid-American Conference Championship.

The Huskies of Northern Illinois University, represented by Congressman Hultgren, defeated the Bobcats of Ohio University, represented by Congressman Johnson, last week by a final score of 23-20. Per the terms of a friendly wager between Hultgren and Johnson, the member representing the losing school was required to give a speech on the House floor congratulating the winning team while holding team paraphernalia.
